I took a last minute trip to my home town for my Grandpa’s 81st birthday this past weekend and it happened to coincide with Edson’s annual Sidewalk Jamboree. I love this fair! Every August, for two and a half days, mainstreet is shut down to traffic and the midway rolls into town. To anyone else it probably isn’t anything special, but to me it’s a place where people come together. If you’re from Edson you can’t walk 10 steps down the street without running into someone you know. It’s the feeling of community that you can’t get anywhere but in a small town.
